    AZ4life here
Live in Peoria, (NW Phx Metro) Generally hunt Coues white tail but have hunted javelina, Mulies, Elk and various birds.
I am heading to Wyoming in October for an Antelope hunt (my first one) and family get together. Az has so many hunters getting drawn is more and more difficult.
Lots of game here in AZ, and great variety of fishing too. Largemouth, smallmouth, lots of variety in trout fishing, Walleye Catfish and more! Put up with a couple months of miserab le heat, and we get some of the best country, with great views and lots of game.
My dream hunt would probably be an Alaskan adventure, hunting Caribou or moose.
    Thanks for your site Jesse

Prescott Valley and we hunt what ever we get a tag or chance. Love to take the dogs out for birds or just go fishing. But we need some rain.

Live in Peoria, originally from Indiana where I learned to hunt whitetails with my father and brothers. I love to bowhunt primarily, but also rifle and shotgun. Im basically open to all hunting of any kind but if I could pick 1 animal it would be elk in September when they are bugling. Right now Im hunting archery Javelina and having pretty good luck in finding them, but not such good luck in my shooting.

I am planning on moving out to Arizona, Phoenix specifically, sometime in the summer next year. I have read a lot and see that the hunting is top notch! Can't wait to get out there.

I live in Gilbert and have been on JHO for 3 years now and just found the state pages. Hunted with a few of the JHO guys in California and just moved back to Arizona about a year ago. I hunt what ever I can get a tag for. I prefer to hunt archery and currently am getting to know Arizona. Currently hunting Javes this month with the bow. I am loving getting to know Arizona and some hunting and camping spots in the state.

Where are you from in Arizona?

Currently L.A. (assisting elderly parent), but grew up in Parks, AZ (15 mi west of Flag). Do all my hunting, fishing, and camping in AZ still, getting "back home" about each 6 weeks or so. Can't stomach any outdoor activity in the hell that is the People's Republic of Kaliforniastan (with the exception of the occasional striper fishing outing).

What kind of game do you like to hunt the most?

    Elk first, then predators.

Who taught you how to hunt and when was your first hunting trip?

Father, for abert squirrels around Flag, 10 years old. First big game hunt was a North Rim mule deer hunt, 14 years old.

Do you use a rifle shotgun, or bow? What kind?

    Rifle, handgun.

What is your favorite hunting memory?

    1. Calling in then watching my son take his first coyote.
    2. Still hunting to within 10 yards of a bedded monster 4x4 muley during elk season.

    What is your dream hunt?

    1. Elk hunt unit 7W, with my boy and I both carrying tags.

I live in San Manuel, 45 miles north of Tucson

We try to hunt everything AZ has to offer. I was gven the opportunity to became a hunting guide, and after a few years with some prominent outfitters, I did just that, now I am blessed to go on the BIG HUNTS on a yearly basis. I have been doing this for well over a decade and I thank God for everything he has given me in the outdoors. I have met some of my very best friends doing this!

My father taught me how to hunt, however his knowledge came from PA and was not very successful out here. I took what the most productive hunters showed me, every magazine article I could get my hands on growing up and a little from all the outfitters and guides over the past 30 years and created my own style.

I like archery the best of all. It matches your skills against the animal. I also like long range rifle.

My dream hunt is to return to Alaska or Canada for BILLY!

Elk is my favorite big game animal, quail is my favorite upland bird.

Who taught you how to hunt and when was your first hunting trip?

My uncle taught me how to shoot a shotgun, my father-in-law everything else. My first hunting trip was in 2001 when I killed a cow elk.

For rifle, a Remington 700 BDL. For shotgun, Reminton 870.

What is your favorite hunting memory?

My first big game hunt was incredible. When I think back to that hunt, everything about it just seems magical.

A moose hunt in Alaska, or a trophy bull elk hunt in AZ.

Where are you from in Arizona?

    i currently live in Yuma.

What kind of game do you like to hunt the most?

I was an avid Deer hunter when I lived in Michigan hunting every year. It has been almost 10 years since I last hunted and I am itching to get back into it. I just received a .22 and a 308. So I will be looking at hunting rabbit and Mule Deer right now. Once I obtain a shotgun I will be adding quail and dove to the mix.

Who taught you how to hunt and when was your first hunting trip?

My father taught me to hunt when I was around 14. My first trip was to deer camp around 40 miles from home.

Do you use a rifle shotgun, or bow? What kind?

Right now I use a rifle as I don't yet have a shot gun.

    What is your dream hunt?

Dream hunt would be to track and bring down a solid Elk.
