Made a running shot at 488 yds and took out his ham. He spun around a few times and kept going but definitely effed up! We chased him down a couple valleys over and shot the beast a few more times then couldn't find it. It had burriied it's self under what looked like a haystack of dibree in a ravene. I was walking on the haystack when I felt it move and saw his tail! I stepped back and The guide Bryan pumped a few rounds in him then I made a big hole where I estimated his back to be just behind his head and he finally stopped moving. If it wasn't for Bryan I would have never found him. He said he could smell him and that's why we were looking in that area. All in all he had seven holes in him!!!

He was literally a needle in a haystack.

Hell yea brother. :smiley_chain_gun_an:hog chewing:I knew Bryan was not going to let you down. He seems to know his stuff like no tomorrow. Congrats on what sounds like a great trip. How was the weather? We got snow in BVS on Monday night, so was think parts of the ranch must have also. I was thinking it to cold for my little spot but, seeing how you did just makes me want to bundle up and head for Billygoat hill. Congrats agian on a great hog. BBQ time!!!

Yo K'Rad. Now that is some animal. If you add up the "calibers", you are about to a 20 mm canon. Now that should put down any pesky pig.

Your wife must be pleased (or horrified) depending on your freezer space. The Admiral is worried, if you could smell him easily, how is the meat smell.

Best to Kim... and you

The meat is totally fine. Smelled fine when we gutted and skinned him... Just never know.
