Our buddy Xao beat cancer 5 yrs ago only to have it resurfaced. Xao was a fighter the entire time and he would not pass up any opportunity to be in the field with his sons, his dad, and his friends. I remember taking him on a strenuous hike in the Ventana not realizing he was still recovering from his treatment...that's how much he loved being in the outdoor. I am one of the very few lucky friends to have shared camp and learned from him. Please pray for his family as they not only lost their father, they also lost their mother a few months ago. Heartaches...

Damn...the world is a lesser place now. Really enjoyed that guy. So sad.
Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000. The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.

Que and XDhunter pretty much summed it up. I met Xao when I first started hunting in 2011 and was blesses to spend time with him and his family at FHL and other places for those years hunting and fishing. I can say to his last days he was still sharing information and knowledge with me about hunting. He truly was one hell of a hunter and fighter. He and his wife will be sorely missed. RIP my brother.
