I'd be scowling too if I had to wear Jonesy's hat. You score that thing? Those little buggers are hard to judge. 93-95"?

Arrowslinger, I never talk about hunters, BUT... I think I can say that this guy is a mess!! Totally out of control, he goes 200% / 100% of the time. An animal in every sense of the word!! UFC comes to mind!

    This guy can shoot also!!

I think he gained a few pounds while he was here, we only took him up the bunny hiils!!

Really, Robert, Mackey and myself had a great time with Matt, in every sense of the word "a real hunter!"

    Hatchet,
Thanks for the info, I'd like to harvest a coues buck. But with the gas skyrocketing these days outof state hunting is kinda outof the question this year for sure. Unless some kind soul was to leave a bag of cash at my front door. The last buck I havested was considered to be a Hybrid andnot a pure blacktail. But I'm ok with that.
I have harvest three species of deer Muley, whitetail, and Hybrid in my personal collection. I still have a bunch more to go. Sitka deer, Columbian black tail, coues. I think I got. I here there is a whitetail species of deer in spokane or north Oregon. I personal goal outweighs my money belt. Its always nice to dream.

    Very nice Coues Hatchet !

    As always awesome job.

I am going to have to hook up with Richard one of these days. I have seen a lot coues, but smaller ones, usually while hunting javelina in Southeast AZ. One day I would like to take a nice one. I have heard there are some decent ones in the northern units like 6B, 21, and 24. Most people I talk to say the southern units are best though.

If it is not too much ask what unit did you take yours in. The pictures look like AZ ??
