This is a great rig. I have owned several versions of Buckshot 35 and worked with the Camtrakker but this Woodswatcher is the coolest camera I've seen. A great setup at a good price. I definitely recommend it. - Matt M.

Have used a camtracker since 1997. Bought a WoodsWatcher in spring of 2001. Liked it a lot, smaller-battery level indicator, much longer battery life, infared eye, not soft and subject to puncture like Camtrakker, picture quality about the same. much shorter delays (my Camtrakkers shortest delay was 3 min.), lighter in weight and easy to set up. A bear wrecked my Camtrakker early on, the lid came off when he was biting it and it filled with water the next day when it rained. Sent it back to Camtrakker they charged me to fix it and told me they had come out with a flange to prevent it from opening in future (they charged me for this also). They had my unit for about 2 months so I bought a Buckshot (big mistake!). It was hard to open and close, had a rinky dink camera, poor battery life, was so big it was impossible to hide and picture quality was not close to Camtrakker. I returned it and went back to the Camtrakker when they got it fixed and sent back. When I bought my first WoodsWatcher and started using it I liked everything about it, I bought another and my hunting pardner bought one also. The first problem we encountered was the camera fit in the case was critical and it sometimes misfired if it moved slightly. The owner of WoodsWatcher was right there and worked to correct any problems. He offered to hardwire the camera switches and avoid the mechanical solenoid that was causing problems. Turnaround with the company is about 3-4 days (not months). We have all 3 cameras in operation in central Maine in mid January with temps near 0. If this sounds like an advertisment, its not, just the facts as they have happened to us. I've taken hundreds of pics with different cameras and the WoodsWatcher have been the best so far. We got 3-4 months battery life until it got cold (I never got more than a month out of Camtrakker). - Dave in Maine.

I bought one because of the good reviews on your web site. Had nothing but bad luck!!! When I first got the camera and set up as per the enclosed instructions I got a whole roll of film back of the same tree. Not a single animal to be found. Called the manufacturer, they told me to try a few different things, did that... whole roll of film of the same tree, maybe a squirrel or two that just happened to be in the area at that time. Called again... tried something different again....... still same pictures of the same tree, still no animals in sight. So by now I figure "three strikes your out" (3 rolls of film) (2 squirrels) not what I had expected. Sent back to have repaired. Was told sensor was bad, repairs were made, "it's in the mail" (told that one to the Ol' Lady a time or two myself "checks in the mail"). Any how finally received my "repaired" product only to open the box and find a nice case but NO camera!!!! Kind of hard to take pictures without a camera!! Called and e-mailed manufacturer which kept "ducking" me. Finally with no explanation what so ever was told to send back and would be refunded my purchase price. I ate the shipping cost of sending back twice and the purchase and development of 3 rolls of film. Bet you won't post this one!!!!!!!! P.S. Bought a DeerCam.......happy with this one so far!!! - Jim.
