Other InformationThis camera was introduced in February of 2002. This is one of the lower priced game camera models in the market. Early models had very short battery life and the new models use more batteries to increase the life. 14 foot camera flash range isn't very good for night pics. The date stamp of time or date but not both will leave you guessing when the animal was there.
User Comments7/8/02 .I purchased the camera one month ago at Cabela's in Michigan and think it's great. I also enjoy your site. THANKS! - Bob K.
I had to use two six volt lantern batteries hooked together in series in order to use up 24 exposure film ! The standard four C cell batteries would not last but about 24 to 36 hours! - Richard H.
I bought one of these cams last year(DEC. 2001) I had it out until it quit working three weeks, it took good clear pictures, when it worked, however, it took very little motion to set it off( got lots of pictures of nothing) seems to monitor too much of an area! Also, it would need new batteries every 4 days, (the battery low light, would come on after just 2 days). As soon as the weather got cold, (low 30's), it quit working all together. The event counter would read 30-40-50- events (I was using ISO 200 speed film in 36 exp.) so I would go to remove the film only to find it did not rewind, thus ruin the roll! I contacted the company, they said to send it back to them with a brief description of problem! I did and did not hear from them for almost 4 weeks, so I called them again, only to find they forgot to call me with what they found! Nothing, but said they would send me a new camera, and even up grade me to there better model, due to there mistake! So great, right, wrong!! 2 week later, I have to call them back because they forgot to send me my new camera! So, they tell me the reason is that they are on back order, but will have one sent to me by the end of the week! 4 days later I get a package from them, only they sent me the wrong camera, so I call and they tell me to send back and when they receive it, they will send me the right one! which they did.
When I got it, I sold it, done playing with there products! The experience with this camera company was not as bad as it could have been, as they were very polite and understanding, and tried to please me the best they could, seems like they are a new company and have many bugs to work out! I believe there camera monitors too big an area, which drains the batteries too fast!! The pictures were clear, even at night! It never got wet, even after being out in the rain for several days! Did not seem to like cold weather at all though, would take pictures of falling snow or leaves too!! too sensitive! I f they could get better battery life and a better sensor it would be a great cam. Everything on this cam is user friendly! Also, you can only chose between date or time on the picture, and it did not work all the time, if you could have both, and have it work it would be a better unit! I also had to pay the shipping to send this cam back , and the wrong one they sent me! Sorry about being long but so many things happened with this cam I kept remembering them as I wrote! - STAN.
I have this camera, and I too have had the problems of: pictures of nothing, ruined film, batteries falling short. I have tried to contact the company, but they have moved to Bedford Texas, and I have not been able to find a phone number for them or an address. I bought this camera directly from them when they were in Grand Prarie, but have not been able to locate them since. I would appreciate your help in locating a number or address. Thanks. - Darryle C.
