Do to the size, price point and life-like characteristics of this type of target, I feel they serve a popular niche in the 3D target marget.
However, after only 2 months of being stored in a cool, dry garage and approx. 50 shots with field points, the foam material of this specific target I've used began to "dry up" and become brittle and fall apart.
At first, the foam had a shiny, plyable, moist feel to it which gripped the arrows well and this was expected. At the end of 2 months, I noticed the body had a pumice stone feel and lighter, dried out texture and weight to it. Almost as if the target were left in the AZ sun for an entire summer.
I generally experience this in my larger 3D big game targets after a good year or more of heavy outdoor use in wet weather. It is then expected that the foam material will lose its elasticity and begin to rot.
I'm sure this is not reflective of the full line of Delta targets. However, I feel it is necessary to mention my experience with this specific product.
