Mosquitos are know carriers of West Nile virus, malaria and many other potentially lethal diseases. In areas of extreme bug density or other extreme conditions you can rely on this 100% Deet spray for application to clothing, mosquito or head nets. The Controlled Release formula eliminates the need to use 100% Deet on the skin. Sawyer makes the only Low-Odor 100% Deet on the market. Repels mosquitos, gnats, ticks, chiggers, black flies and fleas. DEET is the most effective repellent against mosquitoes and ticks. If your main concern is with biting flies, you should use Sawyer Broad Spectrum Insect Repellent Spray. Used alone, DEET is excellent for small flies and mosquitoes but needs an extra ingredient (R-326) to repel biting flies. Pocket-sized 2 ounce pump spray. Sawyer Products #SP718B. Yes | Price you paid?: $4.49 | Rating: 8    Pros: Concentrated, effective, compact...It Works! Cons: Should be offered in Broad Spectrum formula Products like this are easy to keep several in multiple vehicles/packs and is handy to have when faced with biting Mosquitos. It's also nice to not have to smear this stuff on your skin in order to be effective. A few sprays on the outside of your clothes and hat and you can enjoy bug free activities. Cons: Great stuff - don't think I've ever been bitten when I've used it. Pump lets you spray where you want without creating a toxic cloud for you to inhale.
