1000 DERNIER CORDURA NYLON FULL PROTECTION CHAPS
Snake Chapz FP are constructed with 1000 denier Cordura Nylon encasing polycarbonate inserts which stop the fangs of poisonous snakes. Snake Chapz FP are snakeproof to 19" high by the polycarbonate inserts and to the top of the chap by 18 oz. polyurethane impregnated nylon. This allows for comfortable knee action while providing snake proof protection to the top of the chap. Weighing only 18 oz. each, they are puncture resistant tested to ASTM 1342-91 standards and stop a 12-guage shotgun blast at 20 yards! The fabrics have 1 ounce of urethane applied to the inside surface for water resistance. Snake Chapz FP are the most effective leg armor available.
Snake Chapz FP are secured in place with a 1" polyester strap, which may either be slipped through a belt loop or under the belt prior to connecting the polycarbonate quick release buckle. This provides a "full range" height adjustment - a unique feature with Snake Chapz FP.
