Pros:	great sound and responsive
Cons:

As commercial slate calls go, this one is by far my favorite. The slate surface is easy to condition, and stays that way longer than many of the composite or aluminum "slates" I've tried. It also offers what I consider a phenomenal range of sound with very little effort.

Heck, it makes me sound like I know what I'm doing with a turkey call... and that's saying something!
