I've hunted the ranch on the POR (Pig-O-Ramas) and recently bought the Explorer permit to hunt coyotes, 1 hog and ground squirrels. I've never paid to hunt before but with my local NAtion FOrest closed due to the fires I wanted another option nearby.
It's a joy to wander in a canyon and not see anyone all day. My turkey hunts were great since I didn't have meatheads running down the hill toward a gobbling tom I had working like on public land.
Barbara, Ron, Tony, Don and the rest of the Tejon staff are always helpful. We've had members from our website drop pigs in god awful canyons and they are more than willing to help us get them out.
Even if you don't hunt, it's a great place to take the family for a weekend of camping, fishing or shooting photos. They also rent cabins and have a fishing program on the ranch.
