I hunted with Larry several years ago. There were plenty of hogs to stalk in the flats or on the steep and deep.
The bunkhouse was clean and roomy with a hot shower room next door. Skinning facilities were provided or they would skin the hogs for you for a fee.

water was undrinkable, stunk of sulfer. owners were less than friendly

The ranch and bunkhouse were very nice. The water stunk like sulfer, it was so bad you could not even shower. Ranch was nice, guide (Mike) was good. but owners acted like they were doing us a favor to hunt there. I shot a a hog, it ran downhill. The guide found a small peice of hide near where I shot it. We tracked it for 2 hours, there was no blood at all. We went out the next morning to look for the hog. I was then informed that I shot my hog and my hunt was done. Mind you we found no blood. Four of us looked for the hog for 3 hours in the morning. When we talked to the owners about continuing my hunt they stated I could for another $300. They were very unfriendly and could not care less if aIl or my party of 6 would ever come back. I contacted DFG and filed a complaint. The 3 DFG wardens stated they never heard of any thing like that. The owners stated that they owned the hogs. When I told them that they owned the land an the hogs belonged to the people and state of California they left never to speak to us agian.

A buddy and I went out for a rifle hunt. We had a slow start only seeing a couple of long distance hogs (1500+ yards) the first night, nothing the follwing morning, and both of us took 150Lb+ pigs on the second night. The guides all made good efforts to put us on our game, and even reassured us that if we didn't get a reasonable shot at a hog they would either give us another hunt for free or refund our money. Neither the refund or second hunt was needed due to seeing mutiple animals on Sat night.Great place to hunt if you have trouble here you might just need to spend some more time at the bench before the field.

Cons:

Not too many hogs

Bunkhouse was very clean. Water issue is solved. Our guide (Billy) was good - gave good advice and tips on areas. Even though the archery area was fenced, it was not a canned hunt by any means. Hunted Friday at noon to Sunday at noon. You can choose to add a second pig for $100 when you do paperwork at the beginning, which I thought was a good deal. You're already there, you're paying $400 for one pig, if you get one right away, it's a long weekend waiting for the others to tag out, so why not. Got on pigs Friday afternoon, had one hanging that night. Once the pigs realize you are there, it is a challenge to find them. Some of the terrain is deep and steep. Would definitely go back, but it seemed as though there weren't very many pigs on the property. It wasn't very torn up like I'm used to seeing with lots of hogs around.
