Not the best battery life in cold weather and when the flash goes off a bunch at night.

For the money it almost can't be beat, a much better camera than the one sold at walmart. When you buy the camera also buy the solar charger, two rechargeable batteries and two SD memory cards. That way when you go to check it just replace the card and battery all at the same time. And always recharge the other battery at home before you take it out in the field. There were several times I had 400+ photos on a card in a week!
