Pros: Small size, Super Color quality, Rugged, Good battery life with big batteries
Cons: Internal mic picks up too much of my hand noise.

I have used this camera all through turkey season. It has functioned perfectly. No moisture problems. It's compact size lets me hide it easily. I have just draped some leafy ware pants over it and it's gone. Low light is as good as anything I have used to date without nightshot.

The internal mic is good but I am just too noisy. I do want a quality external mic. I purchased the Sony ECM-HS1 Gun Zoom Microphone but it is cheap and sounds to "tinny".

It's small size also makes it harder to hold steady freehand. I am too shakey to use it without some support so if you can use a tripod or mount, it helps. I am trying a couple Sony Remote Control Tripods. The VCT-D680RM and VCT-D480RM are inexpensive (should tell me something) but should work great for when I can use a tripod. I plan on trying a head and controls on a tree/stand mount. I think having some controls on the handle will help setup the camera for a shot without moving too much.

It has 12X optical zoom which is enough for my bowhunting. I could always get other lenses if I did need more zoom. My past cameras have been Sony and I still use my TRV730.

All of my turkey clips were shot with this camera. Remember that the editing process and compression can hurt the quality. You can view some of my video at http://www.huntingfootage.com/showgallery.php?ppuser=227
