We tried a couple pair out on the dove opener here in SoCal this year. The weather was in the mid 80s so they didn't make us sweat at qll. I later tried them in 106 degree weather and they were too hot to wear. Earplug types work better in the hot weather in my opinion.
The muff is thin so you don't bang your stock on the muff. The adjustable headband works for when you wear a hat or have a big melon.
The batteries are easy to load but there is no battery compartment cover except for the foam inside the muff. Two of us lost batteries the first day out. Pro Ears needs to make a little plastic cover for the battery compartment so the batteries stay in.
The audio quality is good, with 2 mics you can tell where a sound is coming from easily. You can also hear things you normally wouldn't hear like your shoes crunching gravel as you walk or far off quail etc.
Operating instructions were easy to read and complete.
A small bag or case would be nice to store them in but none was supplied.
