This is for the Thermacell unit not the lantern. I have used this product a lot down here in the Low Country of South Carolina. Down in the swamps the skeeters are enough to pick you up, light this product off and have no worries as the are gone. I have had 2 nice bucks under my stand with no action that they smelled the unit burning. I highly recommended this product for hunters and campers alike.

I've had the opportunity now to see this unit at work in both the SC Low Country and in the CA duck marsh.
I was most impressed with the way it repelled the mosquitos. Sitting in the Delta marsh at first light during the early season, the mosquitos are thick enough to turn a yellow dog black. With the Therma-Cell unit lit, I found myself under a literal dome of mosquitos, all hovering at the edges of the coverage. Never saw anything like it.
The only downside is that the unit isn't made for use while moving around, so I couldn't really use it while stalking early season deer or hogs. It's great from a stand, though.
