Description:

The Warne Quick Detachable System allows the scope to be removed from the firearm in just a few seconds without the use of tools. The scope can be reattached just as quickly with complete assurance that it will return to zero. The adjustable double levers can be parked in the desired position simply by pulling the lever out against a light spring pressure rotating it to the desired position and then releasing it. Reliable repeatability is one of the most important features of the Warne design.

WARNE produces mounts and rings from steel. Steel does not swage, peen, or deform under magnum recoil and hard use like some inferior aluminum products. WARNE’s rugged steel mounting systems are available for most sporting and military rifle applications. The MAXIMA series is designed around the Weaver and 1913 Mil-Spec Picatinney dimension and will work with both systems.

Pros:	Easy to attach to base. Scope removes quickly
Cons:	Detach levers stick out a bit, possible snagging.

I bought the Warne quick detach rings for my Remington 870 shotgun. I use a Leupold 1x4 turkey scope that sits on a B-Square saddle mount. Sometimes I take that scope off and use it on other shotguns or rifles.

The rings come supplied with a Torx wrench to use on the 4 screws on each ring. The rings installed in a few minutes and I had the scope mounted in about 10 minutes.
