SOME OTHER NOTES: This digital game camera was introduced in the summer of 2001. The first camera used was the Yashica MicroElite which retailed for around $350.00 alone, so it's about 1/3 of the cost for this unit. Camera used now is the Sony’s DSC-P32 Cyber-shot® digital.

Pros:
Cons:

This camera is compact and easy to set up. It comes with a DVD with all set-up instructions. The Sony camera takes quality photos, and the strobe flash has good range for night pics. The camera can be used outside of the unit. It does not have an event counter, but I don't think I need one any way. I purchased extra memory sticks and batteries. I change them out when I check the cam.
Camtrakker has a toll-tree number and is good about answering any questions. The only drawback is the price, as I would like to have several more.

Pros:
Cons: Poor Quality for the price Poor service

Stay away from the Camtrakker Digital Ranger, without the strobe flash Most Shots at night was very dark @ 18 ft
Not only is the quality poor but the service sucks. I returned mine and they charged me 75.00 + the shipping both ways
My Lab walked right in front of it and the picture was blank . More than Once
Total cost to me was 97 dollars and change
. The President Promised he would get back with me but hasn't yet

I was told before that the charge would be 25.00 + shipping
Over priced and Poor Quality
