Description: This arrow rest holds your arrow in place like a shoot-through rest for the fast, swing-shooting action in bowfishing, but allows for much faster and easier reloading. This design allows for the quick, drop-in placement of the arrow when reloading. The arrow positions itself deep within the channel. Made entirely of stainless steel, it will not rust in any environment.

This rest was also designed with safety in mind. AMSBowfishing does not endorse tying the fish line to the tail of an arrow; a safety device should always be used on bowfishing arrows. However, many archers continue with this unsafe practice. By tying line to the tail of the arrow, they risk having their fish line tie itself to the bowstring causing arrow snap-back. Their line may also tangle with the bows' cabling or arrow rest.

When the AMS Channel rest is positioned correctly, the rest will be tilted at an approximate 45 degree angle, away from the archer as shown. This feature alone allows any trailing fish line to slip over the legs of the rest without tangling with them. In addition to the position of the rest, the line deflector will guide the line away from the body of the rest and the bow riser.

Pros: Keeps arrow in place. Easy to install
Cons:

I have the Channel rest on my PSE Coyote and it works good. The rest really helps keep the arrow ready since we jump around a lot in the boat trying to get better shots and angles. The roller rests I've used seemed to not hold my arrow as good.
