The description seems too good to be true, but it really is accurate. Just looking around, I was amazed at how truly beautiful the area is. Every kind of terrain from fields to rugged mountains and streams. Tons of widlife. I saw more turkeys and deer than ever before. There are lots of pigs, but they move around. Luckily the guides know the ranch and some good places to look.
Everything about the place was top notch. It's a clean modern lodge, but very relaxed and comfortable and they certainly make you feel at home. Great meals and a nice deck to watch the sunset. I had a room with a fireplace and deck, and even brought my dog. This was my first pig hunt, and while I didn't necessarily expect to get one, I was successful on my second sighting. The care of the game is foremost, and it was cleaned and hung in the cooler, and then they helped to load into my ice chests when we left. Every detail is covered.
At first glance, it's not inexpensive. But considering all you get, it's actually quite a bargain. I will definitely be going back. It's really like you're part of the family there. Highest recommendations.
