EASTERN ASSASSIN PRO CUSTOM WINGBONE CALL
The Pro Custom Wingbone call is what we like to use for locating. Its not a baffled call, like the Eastern Assassin Custom, but its great for locating or on windy days. The wingbone is from Gobblers that Doug Totty has harvested himself. Supplies are limited so place your order so we can add you to our list. Several types of wood available. Welcome to Eastern Assassin Turkey Calls. I'm Doug Totty and let me tell you about the Eastern Assassin Turkey Call. I started to design the call in 1991 and begun using and marketing the call in the Spring of 1994. I have called in over 100 mature Gobblers using this baffled system, over 90% of the birds called in were on public lands in Virginia.
There are several factors why my call works better than any other call that I have used in over 40 years of hunting turkeys. The first and very simple fact is that it sounds Real! I have had some of the best hunters and contest callers in the country say this.
The second reason is that you can call right down to a low whisper using my call, this is very important when hunting high pressured birds. Myself and my pro-staffers have taken many huge Toms that range between 3 and 7 years of age on public lands very late in the season with my calls. We have done this when other hunters have spooked the birds with loud and aggressive calling.
The third and most important reason is that when you pick-up the call to use every fall and spring it will sound the same every time. As a guide I have found that consistency is very important in turkey hunting. I make each call one at a time, tune it and will guarantee if you take a little time to learn to use it, the other calls will be left at home in a drawer. It will do all the sounds of the hen turkey including the soft perp n pu's that by the way you never hear in a calling contest, to the contended sounds that will makes an old gobbler feel comfortable enough to come in a little closer.
