Description: RHINO 2" EXTENDED 12 GAUGE TURKEY CHOKE TUBE

Rhino introduced the first ported Turkey Choke into the market in 1995. Our Patented design delivers the best pattern density possible by a choke by striping the wad from the shot and shortening the shot stream, delivering more pellets to the turkey's head at one time, plus reducing felt recoil and muzzle jump!

This choke tube is designed to produce some unbelievable patterns! 20 yard patterns measure approximately 14” in diameter and pattern 100% in that circumference. 50 yard patterns can be achieved with correct shot size producing 90% patterns in a 28” diameter. These choke tubes are manufactured of 174 stainless steel and are hand lapped to a zero micron finish on the inside (giving them a mirror finish). The reason behind polishing the inside of the choke tube is to reduce plastic build-up and shot deformation. These choke tubes are then brown acid washed resulting in a brown, no-glare, no-shine finish.

The porting on these chokes covers the entire 360 degrees aiding in reduction of recoil in the 3” and 3½” magnum shells where reduction of recoil is most necessary. Since you are not exceeding 2000 feet per second this porting will not be as loud as a muzzle break on a rifle. It will be no louder than a standard shotgun with or without porting.

SPECIFICATIONS:

* Manufactured of 174 stainless steel
* Hand lapped to a zero micron finish on the inside
* Porting covers the entire 360 degrees aiding in reduction of recoil

Pros: Tightest pattern to date with this choke
Cons: A bit pricey

I tested a Rhino in my Rem 870 with Nitro Hevi-shot and it's the best combination I've found to date. The pattern tests can be found here.
