Yes | Price you paid?: $449.00 | Rating: 7    Pros: No flash, well made Cons: trigger speed 4-5 seconds I bought the first Talon the basspro got in here in Oklahoma City. I could find very little info about it at the time it ws so new out. I needed a trail camera for my feeder site and didn't what a flash going of all the time there as I hunt that spot.The talon looked to be well made and is much smaller in size than most web or Mag picture's make it look. The controls inside are top notch along with the overall build of camera system grade AAA.I have ran it on my feeder since late last summer 8-10 months now and the cam still works like new. I will list the pluses to this system first: Good battery life will take hundreds of pics and last over a month+ on batteries. No flash or noise it's like you never know your getting photo's taken of you or the deer. The land owner next to me can testfy to that as I had is photo hunting my spot with this cam.Strong IR leds true 30ft range at night I have to put a small black tale on half the leds if I set the camera to close to a trail or it will glare bad for to much IR. 10-25 ft is perfect range for IR pics. Now to the bad things: Slow trigger speed about 4-5 second no problem on a scrape,rub,feeder site, but on a trail alone that is to slow maybe it will be improved I had one of the first models after all. Second the IR is to strong at short ranges must block some of them or set cam back father from target area. last this is not the camera fault but B/W images just aren't as pretty as color ones. Overall I beleive this is one if not the bext commercial built IR cams out there for sell at this time. Also the IR leds do allow you to get pictures of the same animal as they don't leave after the flash goes off.I don't think a white flash scares most deer but I can tell you I will get a picture of the same buck at my feeder every 2minutes for 15 minutes straight with this cam.Before with my white flash you may get the same deer maybe 1 or 2 pics that's it. So I don't think the like the flash and leave after they have had enough of it going off.May just make them alittle nervous until they get use to the flash. mtho Registered: September 2005 Posts: 1 Review Date: Wed September 28, 2005 Would you recommend the product? No | Price you paid?: $449.00 | Rating: 3    Pros: no flash Cons: bad , black & white photos, can't delete a couple of pictures it is erase all your pictures or none This camera seems to offer everything that a hunter would want, but most of the time you can't tell what is in the picture. Most pictures are very hard to see.
