Camera: Canon Snappy LX II 35mm fully automatic (/advance/flash/rewind). This is a fixed focus camera so there is no auto focus. Program Auto Exposure with four shutter speeds, so it automatically selects the proper speed to match film type and lighting conditions. f/4.5.

Camera Independent Use: Yes, you can take the camera out of the unit and use it like a normal 35mm camera.

SOME OTHER NOTES:This camera was introduced in July 2001. Easy access with the swing out lid to change film and batteries. Carry handle is real handy. Definitely needs some camo. Customer service answered my phone inquiry with good info.
