I have been using this Ameristep Harness for several years now and am really impressed. Color coded buckles for simple reference with headlamp. Multiple straps can be confusing if it wasn’t color coded. Very secure once put on. Camouflage is a great added bonus. The color disappears against most camouflage clothing schemes. Logger loop allows you to be hands free while installing stand. Also acts as a solid tie in around the tree once in the stand.
I have noticed on occasion there was slack in one of my leg loops that I need to adjust. Not sure if I had tightened against a wad of clothing that was removed when I walked. I had to tighten it several times due to slack.
All in all I recommend this harness.
I especially am impressed with Ameristep’s safety rope/ life line attachment for easy accent and decent once installed.
