I would recomend this product to the person who doesn't want to make a homebrew. I have 6 homebrews with 3 different board manufactures and they are a better all around product with more options than the wildlife eye. The wildlife eye is more visualy appealing than a homebrew. Very good DVD instructions along with a printed guide. It doesn't have a solar panel. I will be adding a solar panel. Doesn't have an outside mic. I will be adding one of these also. Buy the one without a camcorder and use an older Hi8 one, it has better IR capabilities and the tape is 2hrs. instead of 1hr. You would not be disapointed in this product.
