My birthday present from friends this year was my first pheasant hunt. The guys at Guns and Roosters in Visalia were so patient and they had some fantastic dogs.
Idon't know which was better, shooting my birds or watching the dogs work. I skinned my first rooster and plan to get the skin up in my living room. What a beautiful animal- I will honor these birds with several nice dinners and wonderful memories.
