Hey everyone, my name is Carlos, I've been hunting for 10yrs. I try to hunt as much as possible for deer, bear, upland game, small game, and varmits. I mostly hunt d-14 for deer but when we get lucky we hunt x-12 or x-9a.

Welcome to the board! There's another D-14 hunter on this board that just posted for a hunting partner. I offerred to help - I've got experience with lots of critters but no deers.

I drove through D-14 last weekend - just scouting and came up on a couple of hunters right of the road scoping the hill on the other side of the ravine. Don't think they were to happy to see me in my wifes bright red H-3!

It's been slower than usual. Usually we see a few deer troughout the early season but we haven't seen nothing yet. All the water holes we normally hunt are dry, and its been hot. I look foward toward the last two weeks of the season as the bucks start looking for doe's and the colder weather has them moving more. You can't really expect much from this zone, too many hunters in such a small area, and the buck numbers are low.
