I just want to introduce myself as the new guy on the forums. With the way gas prices are going and how expensive proffesional bass fishing is now, I have just made a big desision in my life and I think so far its the right one for myself and my family. I am begining to relize just how much I loved to hunt 18 to 20 years ago, ya you got it right I gave it up to chase that big mouthed green fish around. Its not like I just quit cause I couldnt fish well I think I left on a good note. I have the california delta record largemouth bass record at 18.62lbs, some of you might have remebered that back in 2002 and I won my share of tounaments. But its time to move on and get back to my grass roots and put a couple other tropheys on my wall, like a giant 30" plus muley or big 26 in blacktail or mabye a grand slam in sheep. I have alot of new goals all of a sudden and I am really excited to start hunting for them. luckley I have a great wife that will let me do this.
I also am looking at this amazing sport of archery wow it sure has come along ways with all the new technologies out there. I was actually learning how to shoot and trying one of these beuties out for myself the other day when I met a great guy shooting next to me by the name of Phillip loughlin. I think he could tell I was like a new kid in a candy store when I was shooting that new bow. He told me to get my butt on this forum cause this is a real great place for sharing and meeting some great people. We talked about turkey hunting and other great things that I really miss. So anyways You will probablly start seeing me around a bit. P.S.
