Who has a Remington Model 700 SPS 22-250 and what do you think about .

The sps is a fine rifle... as far as where to get it, I wouldn't have a clue in Illinois. Remington should be able to tell you who your distributor is & in turn which stores they deliver to...

May want to compare other rifle brands also, such as Savage, CZ & Howa etc... Savage is usually a big bang for the buck and known for their excellent off the shelf accuracy. Just a thought.

I'm not sure about the sps but here is my new bull barrel 700 VLS 22-250. Santa didn't visit me this year so I just HAD to buy it for myself. I'm in need of a good scope anyone know of a good one? other the that obvious $700+ models? thanks

A Leupold vari-x II or Vari-x III in either 3-9 or 4-12 power would be a great choice and would keep you under $700 (I have a vari-x II in 3-9x40, It's awesome)

is the 4-12 enough power to be able to get a good sight on a yote at 300 to 400 yards? or even a ground hog?
