Dove hunting near Shaver Lake???

I am heading up to Shaver Lake for the holiday weekend, and was just wondering if there is anywhere within maybe an hour to do some dovin'. i don't want any honey holes just maybe point me in the right direction. any help is much appreciated. thanks!!

I have never seen that many around that area mainly quail. You might try around Prather which you will pass thru there to get to Shaver. It is about 30 to 5 minutes from shaver. The Lab Guy

u can head to Auberry...about 30min from there...theres a bunch of doves but u gotta no how to find them...

Thanks again for an awsome hunt. Savvas and I had a great time and really appreciated your kindness. That was a lot of fun. To say the least we are jealous that you get to do that so close to your house. WOW!!! Anyways we'll call ya this duck season and hopefully you and your boys can join us for a hunt. THANKS AGAIN!!
