Dove season tune up shoot and BBQ Aug 29th.
Prado Olympic Shooting Park in south Chino. Outstanding place to shoot trap or skeet. Lots of shade trees with good access and parking.
http://www.shootprado.com/location.asp
- Trap & Skeet $20 for 4 hours of unlimited targets
We can reserve a field for the day. If you want to form teams for some friendly competition go ahead.
We also need to list what you are bringing for the potluck BBQ. Dig into them freezers and see what you have left. I'll do some cornbread and help Westy to do some of his smoked brisket for starters.
Jesse - cornbread
Westy - smoked brisket

Please RSVP for this event. We're going to try and hold it to 28 people so everyone can get in at least 4 rounds of shooting.
If we get enough demand we can rent the field next to the field we have now.

8am acoustic and we hope to be shooting by 9am. Pull in to the left of the pro shop trailer, field #4 I think it is. I'll have the JHO banner up if I can find it, I may have lost it in the shuffle over at Bass Pro this past weekend. There is a grass area you can set out grills, lawn chairs and easy ups.
We need some more shooters so speak up if you want in. 4 hours of shooting for $20 and some good food. Smokin deal.

I'm going to bring my Weber grill. They have grills there to use too. It'll be hot so I'm bringing the blender for some slushies to drink while we shoot and some cold watermelon on ice.

Had a BLAST. Nice meeting all of you. Wish my dove shooting was as good as my shooting that day. The wind, rain, and thunder in the IV is to easy a excuse. I had one come right at me and still missed it.
Oh well this week is it's on.
