I would like to introduce to you Outdoor Chronicles Magazine as one of JHO's newest sponsors. OC is a quarterly publication that highlights the best in big game hunting, gear reviews, guide listing, and stories from the field.
The guys in the magazine are not paid hunters, they're like you and I, regular joes w/ 8-5 jobs that love to hunt and are pationate about the sport....in fact, most everyone you'll read about are JHO members and have been for quite some time - you'll recognize the names and pictures when you see a copy.
OC has realized that a quality hunting magazine doesn't have to cost $40 for a year subscription, that's why theirs is only $10 for an annual subscription. Not a bad price and as a way to get more subscribers, they've introduced a promotion with a Remington 870 as the grand prize and countless other gear items as well. It's a great way to get some free swag & introduce others to the magazine.
I would welcome each of you to click on the link above and take a look at the magazine and it's content...you won't be disappointed. In fact, the most recent issue even has a story about some guy that stabbed himself in the leg while hunting ...it's called Bad to the Bone.

Excellent Intro Kirk...OC is an excellent mag with very useful tips and tactics for the begenner to seasoned hunter. Most of the articles are written by a group of guys that live to hunt. I would suggest to anyone who has a chance to look at this publication do so. It's sure fun being a part of this kind project.. Happy huntings...

I picked up a copy of it at an outdoor expo a while back and have finally purchased a subscription a few weeks ago!
Alot cheaper than some of those other magazines!
Great articles!

Having worked with the guys who put this magazine together for several years, I can truly say that they have the hunter and outdoor enthusiast in mind when creating each issue. You can only expect that each issue will continue to improve upon an already great magazine.
As a gear editor for the magazine, I also wanted to add that if you have new product announcements, etc, feel free to contact me. While I can't promise that we'll feature your product in future issues, we do strive to include both unique and quality products that we feel appeal to hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.
Good hunting...

There are two hog kills from choppers and a couple of turkey kills that we included on our turkey 101 DVD. I thought I had a link on our website for web purchase. I will have that up shortly, if you are interested. We are completely revamping our web network, and will have some new websites up in the near future.
Anyways, if you send me your mailing address, and 10.00 I will get you a copy. I believe it is about 95 minutes running time. Includes a wilderness elk hunt, that Wil and I were on. Wil takes an elk at 30 yards. Pretty cool footage.

My first issue arrived about a week or two ago. Other than the holes from my dog trying to eat it, it was great. I look forward to the next issue, keep up the good work guys!

Good article AS Deinitely a good reminder how quick a serious injury can occur and all it takes is some basic (light) supplies to maybe save your life.

Shay Mann - I've heard the story about AS, but I'd like to have in hard copy to show others in the future. Shoot it in the mail when you get a chance. Thanks.

Youngblood - Did you get the latest issue? I can't remember if I sent it to you or not. I know each of your JHO names, but to match them up to real names and addresses has been a chore.
Let me know if you received it, if not, I will put one in the mail. Send me an email with your name and mailing address. Reference YOUNGBLOOD in the email.
Thanks dude !
