    My dad shot his Stag yesterday and as you can see is really happy. Thought ya'll might want to see it. He has been wanting to go to New Zealand for a while and he will get to be there till this Saturday hunting tahr, hogs, goats and fishing also. Muleyboy

    He shot it with a .223. I told him before he left that if he couldn't get him with a bow, that he should shoot his with the guides .338, not his .223.

    Wow, nice stag. That sounds like a fantastic hunt. My old boss is a hardcore flyfisherman and I would be in awe of his stories about the fishing. For 5 days straight every day a chopper picked up him and his brother, flew them into rivers that didn't have a road access for 20 miles and pick them up at the end of the day. The pictures he showed me were just unbelievable, and some HUGE fish too. That is definitely on my list for a dream hunt/fish trip. Congrats to your dad, it sure looks like he is in heaven

    That is a monster, is that a Gold medal? I also dream of hunting the Kiwi Island, if I ever pull up the family and move to another country, that is top of the list.
    Give me a bow, a topo, and two weeks, and I guarantee I'll kill two weeks!!
