I was up in D14 this last deer season and for 3 days saw nothing but sign...oh well.
It was quite and adventure, we were in pretty deep...hiked our butts off and wasnt able to fill a tag.

SO im driving east bound on the 60 approaching the 605 and off to the left near the hills (on the probably the most busiest freeway in CA at 3pm) and what do I see.

    A huge 6 point !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt like pulling over , crossing oncoming traffic and eating it raw.....
City of Industry, millions of cars , 40 yards from the road...

No weapon , not deer season, Just my luck......

Just thought I'd share my little story, Im new to deer hunting and the first buck I see, Im traveling through LA county at 65 mph.....

    Lovely

Same thing on the 134 freeway in Glendale, there are always huge bucks hanging around on the hills right off the freeway.

In 1984 as we were driving thru the Virgin River Gorge on I 15 heading to Colorado we looked up and saw a lot of big Muleys on the rock outcropings so many drive thru there w/o looking up.

You wouldn't believe how many nice suburban deer live in populated areas. Cemetarys, landfills golf courses, etc. I have seen some nice ones around Rose Hills and the landfill. Also worked on a project up in Belair and was looking at some tame deer during hunting season that were definatly laughing at me. Talk about seeing stuff driving, I saw bighorns on I10 on the way to phoenix one day. Big full curl on a hill 300yds off the road. Always look now but never see anything.
