Anyone see any decent sales going on for shotgun shells? Sales on 12s and 20's can be had at the usual locations but has anyone seen good prices on 16's or 28's? They are always higher but if anyone's seen them on sale in SoCal or Yuma, call it out.

Strange as it sounds, I stumbled on 28 ga. AAs at the Lakewood Wal-Mart over the summer and they were around $6.75/box if I remember. Bought six boxes I think. I only shoot my 28 once a year, for the dove opener, because the shells are so spendy and its about the only time of year when the volume of birds can be counted on.

Anyone know who has the best on-line deals for case purchases? Looking for some 1 oz. No. 6 20 ga. loads for high-desert & mtn. use....

    Cheers.

Saw this weekend, for the first time ever, 16ga. field loads (Fed) for $4.27box at the Poway Wal-Mart.

They also had a few boxes of .410's, but I've never seen 28ga there.

I picked up two cases of 20ga. at $32.70/case for my pigeon shoots later this year....not a bad price.
