    Hey all,
Here is my 2005 antelope. I shot it with a Hoyt Vtec at 65# using Crimison Talon Broadheads. Arrow went into shoulder through the heart lungs and exited out the other side. Antelope only went about 10 feet before expiriing. He wasn't the one I was hoping for but it was the only day both my parents could go with me and my mom really liked the curl on this buck. So it was an easy decision to make to take him. It was a hectic opening day as I spent all morning trying to get leftover antelope tags for JHO's and a few other people. Drove from one town to the next and at both places they were sold out by 8 am. Then I had to work all day and didn't get off till late because I was late getting to work. I finally made it out to the unit around 5 pm and arrowed this buck at 5:45 pm. Here are some pics:

This was my first time really bowhunting and I am defiently hooked. Archery elk and deer opens in a couple weeks and hopefully I'll harvest them with a bow also.

sounds like it was a hectic day. Were you in a blind? Or did you put the sneak on him?

    Very Impressive.

I really need to get into bow hunting. I'm sick of sloppy seconds.
