    Bill,
Is this Bill Goodson from Fallbrook? I'm the guy you helped do some turkey scouting around the area about 2 years ago. Not sure if you remember me I won a turkey hunt at Lake Sutherland and you joined me out there....

    Hi dirtpoor,

We had a busy weekend, 250 + hunters easy but they were all coming in different times of the day so wait time (if any) in line wasn't too bad. Only 2 Bucks (TA-29 & 27) and 3 Pigs (TA-29, 16, & 15) but one guy this afternoon come to my office to have me sign his deer tag cause he gotten one buck out in private property right beside TA-30. It went pretty smooth during A-zone Deer Archery opening weekend and hopefully we'll have lots of areas for you guys this coming weekend.

Hope to see you all soon!

    Rannie,

Do you guys allow rifle pig hunters during deer archery in FHL? Just wondering...

    Hi Bubba & QUE,

We did last weekend because our resource manager forgot to designate areas just for A-Zone Deer Archery but we will this weekend.

    Rannie,

Wouldn't that be 4-pigs from this past weekend? My nephew got one from TA-19, remember?

Oops, you're right L2H! Your nephew got one in TA-19 but we wrote it down real quick when you all were leaving because your nephew forgot to log it in the forms. Thanks for the reminder! =)

I think opening weekend for archery at FHL should be archery only. I think Camp Bob does that...Sure makes it tough tto put a sneak on a buck when you have a bunch of pig hunters busting brush trying to find pigs...maybe next year...
