    Hi,

Thanks folks... I thought so too. I originally had the camera attached to those trees in the background, shooting back this way. The camera in the picture you're looking at, is attached to a hay bale in the middle of the field. The only other shot I got out of it that night was a close-up of a buttonhead... so close that he's completely washed out by the flash.

    Witty: LOL LOL

That had to be the biggest security cable in the world to keep someone from taking your camera off a haybale.

    Hi,

Haha... well, the farm is just a place I visit on the weekends (sigh). The farmhouse is off camera to the right, about 600-700 yards away. I only leave the camera there, WHILE I'm there. So I wasn't too worried about it. What's fun is to see the flash go off at night, while I'm sitting on the porch with a cold beer. It's all I can do not to get up and run over there to see what I got. I'm sure you can understand.

    Hi,

Well, she ain't my farm unfortunately. I just have a friend that rents one of the 5 farmhouses. It's a 500 acre organic beef cattle farm, located in Upperville, VA... horse country (rich people). The beef cattle part of the "operation" seems more like "something to do", rather than an actual business, as there doesn't seem to be that many heads, in my opinion. But the place is crawling with deer... and they seem to be completely unpressured (a dream for someone who lives in the D.C. metropolitan area). They certainly aren't hunted at all... but I'm trying to change that.
