after the blast i had down in MO. im back to alaska's very slow paced bowfishing for pike.

first day out by the house i only saw five, biggest was about 6#. i missed all of them.

today i went with a friend to a mud hole he heard about and got two small one's 15-16" just walking the bank. ill try again in a day or so to see how it goes..

OH YA, Pickelled Fish at its finest. You've got some good eating there ibw. Nothing like pickelled Northern Pike. Congrats on your days fun.

ok went back to the mud hole again and did a little better today. got 4 more to extend my lead on my buddy. biggest was 27" 4# 6oz, my goal besides winning the bet with my hunting partner is to try and find a pike over the 10# mark this year. my biggest fish 2 years ago was 8# 7oz 36"long. got 3 or4 in the 8# range that year..

    good shooting ibwhnt.

I wish we had pike here to shoot. I think they have them way up north but nothing in southern CA.
