Haven't heard from you about your late season tag. Also, how did the new camo suit work this year?
I recently had a chance to harvest a cow elk at FHL. The hunt was harder than expected. The elk were not coming off the closed areas after the first two days of shooting.
During my stay in Wyoming (guiding), I got to 39 yards of a nice whitetail but passed because of the distance. Other deer were alerted and I was afraid of a bad shot. Later, in October, I was able to take the deer with a rifle.
