Getting ready for my annual week of teaching some crickets to swim around the Burney/Hat Creek area and was wondering if anyone has any "hands on" info about what's happening up there.

Any info would be appreciated and thanks in advance.........

I haven't heard anything about Burney/Hat creek fishing. ###My guess is that is is pretty good though. ###If you want a decent report, I would call the Fly Shope in Redding - they usually have a good grasp on the situation. ###I read in the paper last night, however, that Eagle lake is bringing in some decent fish (1-5 lbs). ###Might be worth the drive if Burney/Hat creeks aren't producing. ###If you don't want to drive to Susanville, you might try Fall River, the Pit River, and/or the McCloud river. ###Lots of options in that area! ###Good luck and have fun!

I was at the Fly Shop on Saturday and Hat creek was only reporting fair fishing conditions. ###Burney and McCloud were good.
