GunDoc's post about his mountain fishing trip got me to thinking it's time to head up also this weekend. I usually head up to Big Bear but I've been wanting to head to Cuyamaca for awhile now.

Anybody know Cuyamaca? I enjoy topwater bass fishing, wade fishing with a flyrod and poppers. I might rent a boat if there are any left.

If anybody else wants to come up just holler. I'm shooting for a Friday night or Saturday arrival and leave Sunday afternoon. Also want to shoot some pics of the Merriam's turkeys up there too if anybody has any current sightings.

Jesse, I haven't heard of much action up there besides trout, but now that the weather is heating up the topwater may perk up also. ###Here is last weeks report
The last group of turkeys I saw were south of the lake on the west towards green valley falls, theres also a meadow that had about 40 or so does grazing in the late afternoon. ###Have fun.
