A friend of my gave me a dead 370 camera.

With new batteries in the cam and when you open the door nothing happens. No indication of any activity what so ever. When you press the button on the right hand side of the camera the bottom green light blinks on and off for a few seconds and then goes out.

Also the LCD screen does not go on. Any advise on how I might try bringing the cam back to life or just come out of the coma for a while.

The camera is dead so any suggestions can't hurt.

I think it has a tab on the memory card door that closes a switch when the memory card door is clicked shut. Check and see if it is there and didn't get snapped off.
