If you're not familiar, they're a saboted 55grain bullet available for the .30-06. ###They're not widely available but can be had with some snooping. ###I'm curious as to how they work on the coyotes. ###I can't really afford a predator gun right now, but I'm tearing up the hides pretty good. ###I don't particularly mind when I'm helping out the deer population in my honey hole, but I'd kinda like to get a few hides.

    Any input is appreciated.

    Regards,
    Paul

I've used them in the past and still have some that I use on occasion. The only thing that I don't like about shooting them out of my deer rifle is that they don't shoot to the same point of aim as my deer bullets. I don't want to tinker with my scope so I don't use them much.
    ### You should try some maybe your rifle is different. The ones I used killed coyotes as dead as they needed to be!!!
    ### To avoid tearing up hides I use my 12ga. Anything from 4buck up to 000buck will work. I usually use 3" mag 00 or 000. The damage is small holes that can be sewed up easily.
    ### Or you can try my other method. Whine to your wife until she gets sick of hearing you. Mine finally gave in today and let me order a NEF Handi Rifle. $236.00 Pretty reasonable and I have heard alot of good things about them. hope they're all true. I'd hate to have to buy another rifle;-) ### ### ###Scott

Thanks, Scott. ###I'll wait for the report from you before I go into full whine mode.

Beerman-I still see them at just about every gun show I go to. I think a buddy of mine found them at Midway also. Don't know if Remington quit making them though. ### ### ###Scott
