Nude potluck protest in park was apparently a bust

(7/30/04 - ASHLAND, OR) — The nude potluck was bust.
Someone in Ashland, Oregon, has been distributing fliers inviting people to a nude potluck in Lithia Park. It was an apparent response to the city council's passage of a law prohibiting "unclothed genitals."

But the people in the park kept their clothes on Thursday. Park Patrol Officer Lisa Evans said she did see one young topless woman on a city street. Since toplessness isn't illegal in Ashland, ( Ok, I'm movin to Ashland. Anybody know how cold it gets there?) the bare-breasted woman wasn't busted.

But Evans says she stood next to her until the woman went away. She says her police uniform has that effect on people
