Well after 9 months he came to us on the 21st. The wife was in labor for 30+ hours and we ended up having a c-section.

Everything turned out fine and the wife is recovering well. The baby Wyatt James is 8.9 lbs, 20 inches long and full of energy. Now if he would only sleep a little during the night.

Man what a gift this has been. I can not wait until his first camping, fishing, hunting and desert dirt bike trips. This is gonna be fun , but not without much work.

Well I am off to try and get a little sleep.

deadducks, Congratulations to you and your wife on one of the greatest moments in your life! There's nothing like a newborn falling asleep on your chest. Sometimes that's the only sleep you get. One of life's finest moments!

Wyatt, Welcome to a less than perfect world. There are many, many great people out here, and some not so great. Your Mom and Dad will steer you to those you need to know. Love and cherish your Mom and Dad, because someday they'll be gone. You're about to embark on a grand, grand journey, and with a start at JHO, it's bound to be a good one! Welcome!

Deadducks, Don't worry about the sleep thing. You will have pleanty of time for that at work. Right now there is no time for any of that at home. J/K. Congragulations on the boy and new hunting/fishing/ridding/camping partner.

    Great name and congratulations
You have just embarked on the toughest yet most rewarding journey of your life.
Mine are 13,16, and 18 and it actually all went by way too fast.
I can still look at them and remember holding them as babies. The guys are right,
Cherish every possible moment you can.

Oh, and there is no better feeling in the world than taking your Boy on his first Hunt. It's like another phase of watching them discover and grow.

GREAT ! Now I've gotten all mushy!
I need to call the huys and talk about guns & stuff.
