Hey i went out sunday morning to azusa to call some coyotes and as i pulled up to my spot there are 3 coyotes working a trashbag .they ran off so i went ahead and got out and headed up the fire road waited about 30 min and begain calling with a new cd ###i used the house cat crying tune and those coyotes were having a fit but would not come up the trail to ingest some 223 ala 14'' contender pistol . I wish now that i had taked my rifle instead. i did have 5 deer come to that call though and just stood there even though i walked within 40 yds of one, then it proceded to alert every other deer of my being there. but for the most part ###just happy to be out and seeing animials can't wait till june 24 th. to find out what i have drawn. ###one other thing i work in the port of long beach and the coast guard's are crawling all over the port looking for supposed terrorist's that came in a container. i guess maybe i will have to resort to VARMINT HUNTING ON THE SO CAL SHORELINE INTSTEAD OF THE HILL'S AND VALLEY'S OF SO. CAL.
Hey 1socalhunter; no problem i will send you a message as to when i will be going again. probably ###29-30 of this mo. SPECKMISSER; as far as the paper bag thing i guess your best bet would be to hunt over a trashcan or bag thrown from a passing car with lunch left over's in it ! my only problem is getting them 1/8 mi off the main road and in the open to get a shot!!!

I'm still wanting to test loads, mostly hand loads now with my 22-250 before I do any hunting. Hopefully this Saturday?! ###And I still havn't gotten my mini 14 back yet, which means even more range time. So looks like mid July at the earliest for me to chase coyotes. So please shoot one for me in the meantime.
Oh, we still need to kibbits on x9a one of these days. Especially if you get drawn. I earned a point for next year already, which is fine with me. ###I put in for x12 only and didn't get it. That's ok, as quail are much easier to "pack out" anyhow :)

Hey's Frank good to here from you i will call you today and maybe we can get together about the hunting in x=9a and also some range ###time . i want to go and shoot that 10/22 that i just finished to see how well it shoot's and also on my 22/250 load's and a few 308 load's also and as for azusa i am seeing a lot of ###deer and some coyotes .if i do not get drawn for x=9a i will try and get a second archery tag for a-31 because i have a few places i can hunt that are below the firearm's closure area's of azusa and glendora so i will just have to wait till manday to find out what i have been drawn for. ### ###Wingman; ya that would be great i was talking to 1socalhunter about the same thing we need to get a few guy's that live fairly close to get together and do some hunting or range time together, i still have not made it to a jhp hunt to meet some of the guy;s that are on the ###JHP so i ###can put a face with some of the names!!! ###this has got to be the BEST web site for varmint hunter's to get together and hunt and chat ###thank's to jesse for putting together such an excellent web site!!!!!!!! ### ### ###so cal hunter
