<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>We have been given the privilege of hunting the entire South Side for our group only. That means about 50 JHOers are gonna have the place to ourselves (well, ourselves and any Tejon lease-holders who happen to be there that weekend).
Last year, we put about 30 people on the South Side during the March POR. I don't know how many JHO members hunted the other PORs, but it's obvious we can fill the area. So we got the go ahead to hold our own event. It's scheduled for May 21-23.[/b]
Hey Ladies, I have just signed up to go on this hunt. I understand the hunters all had a great time last year, even the ones that went home without a pig. I am wondering if any other female hunters going to this event.
All the details are in the Hog and Javelina forum (pinned topic at the top of the list). If there is a chance you can join us let me know.

If I lived closer, I'd be there.
C'mon out, Scruff! You won't be the only out of stater. So far we have hunters coming from Idaho and Arizona... but as far as I can tell, only one female (Mudwalker).
Ya'll need to come on out and show the guys how to do it.

Kansas is a little further than Arizona or Idaho...If I could drive there within 8-10 hours, I'd be there.

Well, if you drive REALLY fast, you could make it 8-10 hrs.If I could drive there within 8-10 hours, I'd be there.[/b]![]()
Brought my brother out from NC for the POR a couple of years ago. It was a blast, and well worth the air fare. But it wasn't a cheap trip.
But heck, Scruff... turn it into a vacation. We ALL need a vacation. You could make the hunt on the weekend, then spend a few days touring Hollywood before grabbing Toto and clicking your heels together three times.

Well, not a wild hog hunt. Maybe next year. I'll see if I can get my hunting partners to come out with me. Share the cost of driving.
I've already got my vacations planned. I'm hoping to go to Alaska in June. And plan on going Elk hunting in Colorado in the fall.
I wouldn't make it in the big city. Not even for a couple of days.![]()

And to torture toto in that way, I'd be put in jail.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>Well, those are pretty good alternatives to hanging out with us in May. I reckon we'll let you slide... just have to plan early for next year!I've already got my vacations planned. I'm hoping to go to Alaska in June. Wish I could bring all my "long-lost" brothers and sisters out for the hunt. I keep playing the lotto, but they can't seem to get the numbers right.![]()

Mudwalker,
I wish I could go, but I can't. I work on Saturdays and I can't take that day off in May. Maybe another time. That's what happens when you take duck season off from work. It sounds like lots of fun.
