Northern CA spring 2 day turkey hunt on my own private property. Guarantee kill well not gaurantee but almost. Everyone I took this year (7 people) either passed a handful of jakes missed a longbeard or went home with a longbeard.

I've have hunted with Norcalihunter this past spring and I'll tell you what he has got a butt load of turkeys on his property.When we went out we worked ten different gobblers that day and out of those ten we had five of them come within shooting distance( we would of had two more, but a coyote spooked them).We had both of are birds down by 9:30 am, both birds were nice two year olds.

There is no law being broken in trading hunts. Since it is of a cash value, all you'll have to do is fill out your guide's log book upon a successful harvest and submit by the 10th of the following month. It is just like receiving money for a hunt. No worries.

Well, I'm not and guide so I don't have a guide log book. So how can I fill one out? It almost sound to be it would be less of headache not to do anything at all...

It's a close one to call, especially after seeing the deal with CABoarTracks (Lowell) at Camp Roberts. Before that happened, I'd definitely say it's no problem. But now we know two things... one is that you can sure get pinged for taking something of value in exchange for a hunt, and two is that this forum is not private and hidden from the eyes of the law.
It might be wise to contact DFG directly and ask.
He has no gallery to applaud or disapprove of his conduct... Whatever his acts, they are dictated by his own conscience rather than a mob of onlookers. It is difficult to exaggerate the importance of this fact.
